Turkey public holidays 2028: 9 days
In Turkey in 2028 there are 9 public holidays, all national. Of these, 4 fall on a weekday — guaranteed days off for employees — while 5 coincide with Saturday or Sunday. 3 land on a Monday or Friday, naturally extending the weekend without using any annual leave. The month with the most public holidays is May. The holiday calendar opens with New Year's Day on 1 January and closes with Republic Day on 29 October.
In Türkiye, public holidays are known as "Resmi Tatiller".
