China public holidays 2028: 15 days
In China in 2028 there are 15 public holidays, all national. Of these, 12 fall on a weekday — guaranteed days off for employees — while 3 coincide with Saturday or Sunday. 2 land on a Monday or Friday, naturally extending the weekend without using any annual leave. The month with the most public holidays is January. The holiday calendar opens with New Year's Day on 1 January and closes with Mid-Autumn Festival on 3 October.
In 中国, public holidays are known as "公共假日".
